The Buckeye Chapter has created an annual award in Glenn’s honor to recognize racers exhibiting great sportsmanship.   The October club race at Mid Ohio has been renamed in his memory as well.  This first year, the trophy was presented to Glenn’s son, Greg, who also drove a few laps in 076 ahead of the rest of the field to celebrate Glenn’s memory.

Donations to continue this award will be gladly accepted and should be made out to “Buckeye Chapter BMWCCA” with a notation of “Glenn Lucas”.  Checks can be mailed to Buckeye Chapter BMWCCA c/o Treasurer, 782 Pine Needles Drive, Dayton, OH 45458.

On Saturday, August 29th, 2009, the Buckeye Chapter lost a long time member, friend, instructor, racer...all around good guy, to cancer.  We will miss him greatly.
